Found this while digging around in my archives, thought I’d give it away. Was written in the summer of 2011….

Auditory Canvas – Snowy Morning.mp3
Enjoy….
For those that have wondered….
To some it looks similar to the aphex twin symbol, to others it looks like the Japanese kanji for 8, though neither were consciously intentional.
It also coincidentally resembles the A for auditory canvas.
I’m sure it’s many things to many people.
To me, it’s something I’d drawn, doodled, and perfected over years. Each piece actually represents a family member that has in some way, shape or form crafted me, and/or biologically or influentially made me who I am. One piece also represents me, the shape representing my desire and pursuit of purity.
The shape of each piece represents the nature of each person and my relationship and connection, or lack thereof with them.
The dot, an island by the thorny structure lower right represents the soulmate I haven’t yet, at least not knowingly, met.
The tattoo I have of it is encircled. When I decided to use it as a symbolic signature for my music, I used it without the circle, making it an open, and public version.
Been a while since I posted here, apologies, been a little hectic with festivals and gigs. I’ll post more updates and free stuff soon.
In the meantime, here’s some video of myself and Jillian Ann performing at LIB 2010.
The good people over at UBLF Chilldown Period just featured the track Fabrique on the latest installment of their podcast.
If you haven’t had a listen to their cast, I highly recommend you do. It’s a great source of finding new, great music, and makes for a great background for working.

There’s been some good buzz and reviews of the Fabric of Life album over the past week.
Create Digital Music posted a great article on the album, the release strategy I used for it, and other related, and pertinent points, you can view the article here:
Thomas Raukamp posted a very flattering review of the album earlier this week, which you can read here:
http://thomasraukamp.posterous.com/a-dense-grid
UBLF Chilldown Period also posted a very thoughtful review on the album:

Scott, founder of Glitch.fm sent me an awesome quick review of the album too:
“Brilliantly beautiful textures and melodies filled with delicious granular details and good rhythms when only absolutely appropriate. Think BT’s “This Binary Universe” meets Guy Sigsworth’s compositions (and a little Enigma here and there)! If anyone involved in the film industry is reading this – AC deserves a job scoring films with work like this. Top favorites are Spring Rain, Fabrique, and Chrysalis though it’s all good. ” – Great Scott (Muti Music // Glitch.FM // Scarcity Records).
If you haven’t checked out glitch.fm yet I highly recommend you do, some pretty cool audio treats from many different DJs and artists. http://glitch.fm
Thanks to everyone for their time and effort on the articles and reviews, I sincerely appreciate it.
